Preschool
Screening for 2012-2013 school year.
A
preschool screening for non-disabled peers will be held at Ewing School on Monday,
April 30, 2012. The preschool program is searching for children who
demonstrate excellent play and language skills for the purpose of being role
models for classroom peers with disabilities. There
are limited spaces available for the 2012-2013 school year. To participate in
this screening, children must be at least 3 years old by May 1, 2012, be fully
toilet trained, and demonstrate age appropriate skills in all areas of child
development. Four-year-olds are preferred. Ewing
School is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and operates half-day
preschool Tuesday through Friday excluding scheduled holidays and breaks. Ewing
typical preschool fees are on a sliding fee beginning with $85.00 a month. Fees
must be paid prior to month of service. Programming
includes swimming in Ewing’s warm water pool. All teachers are fully certified
and follow a curriculum that is aligned to Ohio Department of Education’s
Early Learning Content Standards. To
