The Autism Center of Southeastern Ohio (ACSO) is providing a monthly support group for families living with Autism in Washington County. It is called W.A.S.H. (Washington Autism Support Hour). The meetings are held the second Thursday of every month from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Ewing School. Free child care is provided during the session, but parents must RSVP with Melissa Nething at 740-373-3781, ext 54, or melissan@wcbdd.org, by the Monday before the session. Educational speakers are provided every month.

RESPITE PROGRAM (Specific dates and times to be announced)

We are very excited to announce a new respite program we are starting in May, 2011. It will be every three months at Ewing School. Parents will be able to drop their children off at Ewing School for four hours and go RELAX! The children will be swimming, playing in the gym and doing arts and crafts. To receive an invitation to the respite , a parent or family member must attend at least one W.A.S.H. meeting. For more information contact Melissa Nething at 740-373-3781, ext. 54.

News:

Our Valentine Dinner/Dance held on February 12, 2011 was a huge success! We raised roughly $9,000, $5,00 of which will go to our programs. Thank you to everyone for coming out to support us and to everyone who made donations. Mark your calendars for next years event, Saturday, February 11, 2012.
